Club activities have included a Fall Cart Outing, where members gather for a weekend to run their dogs on trails with carts, enjoy a meal in the evening and an informal training match in the afternoon. Various clinics for microchipping and eye checks are also usually held for a minimal fee. A Siberian Husky Specialty Fun Match is held each Spring where dogs can be shown in puppy sweepstakes, regular conformation classes, non-regular classes such as sled dogs and stud dog, obedience and agility; often eye/microchip clinics are held on the same day at the match location.  In the past, a winter sled dog demonstration was held in conjunction with the Blowing Rock Winterfest. CNCSHC has also conducted two Working Pack Dog Hikes so far.  CNCSHC no longer has an active Rescue Program, but a Rescue Referral Program assists in placement of unwanted Siberians and sometimes with their medical expenses.

The diversification of CNCSHC members' interests ensures all facets of the breed are well represented in club activities. A club newsletter is printed in the months in which meetings are held. Non-member newsletter subscriptions are available for only $10.00 per year.
